Three-phase motor 3000 rpm is the three-phase electric motor with 2 poles, which at the standard frequency of 50 Hz develops a synchronous speed of 3000 revolutions per minute. In real operation, due to the slip characteristic of asynchronous motors, the effective speed is approximately 2850-2950 rpm, depending on the load and efficiency of the motor.

The 3000 rpm three-phase motor is preferred for applications requiring high shaft speed, without a reducer: high-pressure centrifugal pumps, axial fans, piston compressors, circular saws, grinders and industrial sanders. Compared to the 1500 rpm motor (4 poles), the 3000 rpm motor offers double the speed but half the torque for the same nominal power.
